I have finally managed to add a completely new unit to my Classic 20mm ACW collection in the shape of these Jacklex rebels.

One of the reasons for virtually no output of figures revolves around the state of my eyesight and so I tried a lighter gray undercoat and the use of a wash (from Aly Morrison's recipe). While not as "clean" as Aly's work it was certainly easier to see the detail and so onwards and upwards - I will persevere.
My next new addition will be the 14th Brooklyn Zouaves (my favourite Union uniform).
These have painted up a treat.

ReplyDeleteCurrently, due to building work, my wargames table/terrain is under a ton of belongings but as soon as they have finished (and I have decorated) my table will be open for gaming once more.
DeleteThese look excellent. I have some Jacklex miniatures that I no longer intend to use, some of which are painted. Would you be interested in having these figures? No charge for the figures but help with the postage (in the UK) would be helpful.
